On the left is samjamarama and on the right is me. And in the middle is LEVAR BURTON.
So here’s the story: we were just wandering through the autographing area, and put our stuff down to pose for pictures for a couple of con-goers. Then a con volunteer comes up to us and says that Levar Burton would like to meet us. I believe my exact response was: “Are you freaking kidding me?!”
So we were led right past this long-ass line of people waiting to get his autograph and were presented to him. I never ever thought Levar Burton would be as excited to see us as we were to see him - honestly, he was squealing, or to put it better, nerd-gasming. And totally lovely and cool and effervescent and UGH EVERYTHING. Anyway, he took several pictures of us and posted the bottom picture on Twitter. I did not know he was a Whovian, and now I love him about 10 times more.
Thanks to Ian Barclay for taking the other pictures and being kind enough to send them to us!
